Fitness Kickboxing

Get in shape, improve your over all fitness and shed those unwanted pounds by using the movements of martial arts, music and a motivated instructor. Each class begins with a gentle warm up, stretching and low impact aerobics. As you warm up students of varied fitness levels can challenge themselves by adjusting the, quantity, frequency, intensity or duration of the exercise. We will work abs and some strength training. You will also learn to strike focus mitts and target shields. This class is a great way to receive the physical benefits of martial arts training without preparing for tests, or focusing on the practical self-defense application of martial arts. The class ends with a cool down, flexibility and balance practice, and a towel to the forehead.
